Independent software studio

Practical software for people who work with evidence.

914 Studio Group builds focused Windows tools for private investigators, insurance SIU teams, attorneys and security firms. Our software runs on your own computer, works offline and never uploads your files.

Our first product

Video Stamp

Burn an accurate, running date and time into a copy of any video, in the format you choose. The original file is never touched, and nothing leaves your computer.

  • Reads the start time from iPhone, Android, GoPro, DJI, dashcam and CCTV files, or uses a time you enter
  • Running clock follows every frame and handles daylight-saving changes
  • Optional report with SHA-256 fingerprints of the original and the stamped copy
  • $79 one time per PC, with a free trial that has no time limit
The Video Stamp window: a video list on the left, a live preview of the stamped frame in the middle, and stamp settings for date, time, text, font and position on the right

How we build

Built for work that may end up in front of a judge, an adjuster or a client

We build small tools that do one job well, and we are careful about what we claim they do.

Your files stay with you

Our software processes everything on your PC. No uploads, no accounts, no cloud.

Originals stay untouched

We open source files read-only and write results to a new file, so your original is never changed.

Plain, honest claims

We tell you what the software does and what it can't know, such as whether a camera's clock was set correctly.

Pay once

One-time prices with a year of updates included. Your copy keeps working after that.
